  • The pattern is a 2-row repeat. Just be sure you chain a multiple of 3+1 for your project.


  • Yarn: Craft Smart Value Yarn – 100% Acrylic Weight 4
  • Hook: 5mm/H-8


  • * *: Repeat instructions in asterisks defined number of times
  • { }: Number of stitches or clusters you should have at eor
  • Ch: chain
  • Dc: double crochet
  • Eor: end of the row
  • Esc: extended single crochet
  • Sc: single crochet
  • Sk: skip
  • St: stitch
  • Yo: yarn over

Special Stitches

Bead Stitch: Yo, insert hook around previous dc from front to back, yo pull up a loop (3 loops on your hook,) *repeat 3 more times, until you have 9 loops on your hook, yo and draw through all loops on the hook
Extended Single Crochet (esc): Yo, insert hook into st, yo, pull up a loop (2 loops on hook), yo, draw through both loops.

For base: Ch multiple of 3+1.
Ch 13

Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch until eor. {12}

Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as a first dc), turn, dc in same st, make a bead stitch around this dc; sk 1, esc, *dc in next st, make a bead stitch around this dc; sk 1, esc*, repeat until the last 2 st; sk 1, esc in the last st. {4 clusters}

Row 3: Repeat Row 1.
Row 4: Repeat Row 2.
The pattern is a 2-row repeat. Just be sure you chain a multiple of 3+1 for your project.
