Ingreeny Crochet Summer Cardigan: The Pattern

Back Panel:

Ch 59 (or multiple of 5+4 )

Row 1: Dc in 5th ch from hook (counts as first dc + 2 ch), *Ch 2, sk 2, dc in next 3 chs*, rep until the last 4 chs, ch 2, sk 2, dc in next 2 chs.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, *5 dc in the ch2sp from previous row, sc in 2nd dc from previous row]*, rep until eor, last sc goes in the 4th ch from ch 4 from previous row.

Row 3: Ch 4, turn, sk 1, dc in next 3 st, *ch 2, sk 3, dc in next 3 st*, rep until last 2 st, ch 1, sk 1, dc in the sc from previous row.

Row 4: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in same st, *sc in the 2nd dc from previous row, 5dc in ch2sp*, rep until last sc, and in 3rd chain from ch 4 from previous row ch 3 dc.

Repeat this combination of 4 rows for your measurements.

Row 5: Repeat row 1: Ch 3, turn, dc in the first ch from hook, *ch 2, sk 3, dc in next 3 st*, rep until eor, ch 2, sk 3, dc in next 2 chains.

Row 6: Repeat row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, *5dc in ch2sp, sc in the 2nd dc from previous row*, rep until eor, sc in the 3rd chain from ch 3 from previous row.

Row 7: Repeat row 3

Row 8: Repeat row 4

I made 7 combinations (56 rows)

Row 57: Repeat Row 1

Row 58: Ch 1, turn, sc in same st, sc until eor.

Ch 1, fasten off , leave a long tail for sewing.

Make 2

Ch 24 (or a multiple of 5+4)

Repeat pattern the same  from back panel written up.

Make 58 rows.

Ingreeny Crochet Summer Cardigan: Sewing Instructions

Turn on back post panels. Use stitch markers for easy sewing.

  1. First sew up for shoulders.
  2. Now sew on left and right sides and leave holes for hands.
  3. Turn on right side.
  4. Along the hole for hands attach yarn, ch 1, sc all around , make 1 row for each hole for hand.

Attach yarn to bottom edge: ch 1, sc all around. Make 1 row.
