Hello Cheri, there is one way to make it wider, to make 2 more rows on each side on the lateral. there is a another top on my blog, you can see the way that I did the sleeves. it is the same crochet stitch.

I made this for my daughter. Getting ready to crochet front and back together, but I held it up to her and it is too small, especially at the bust. Is there a way to add more to the sides so it will fit? Can you advise me how to fix it?
