Today we will be learning the shell and post stitch pattern. This simple, beginner friendly stitch looks elegant and works up fast. The only basic crochet stitches used are single and double crochet, but knowledge of front post- and back post double crochet is required. I used a 5mm hook for this tutorial, but you may use any hook and yarn you desire. I have accompanied this written crochet tutorial with a video as well, in case you need more visuals.
Use this beautiful, easy crochet stitch to create many different projects including blankets and garments.
So, without further hesitation, let’s get to work on our tutorial.
