Elevate your wardrobe with this free summer top crochet pattern! Available in multiple sizes, I have designed the Nectandra Crochet Summer Top to be a comfortable and versatile piece. Its lightweight design is perfect for all seasons, while the striped crochet detail adds a pop of personality to any look. Pair with jeans or shorts in hot weather or layer under vests when the weather gets cooler!
Simple Stitches Meet Elegant Design
Designed using primarily double crochet and a 4.25 mm hook to obtain the tight stitches, this garment is dense, eliminating the need for additional underlayers. The classic button-down design seamlessly complements any ensemble. It’s simple construction makes it an idea project for crocheters of any skill level.
Cotton for Comfort
Cotton yarn is ideal for making garments, due to it’s versatility and soft fibers. I chose Loops & Threads cotton yarn for minimal stretch and easy maintenance. This beautiful crochet top will allow breathability on warm summer days and comfort for cooler winter nights. I have also provided the instructions for adjusting the size ranging from small to 4XL.
