I created the Savannah Crochet Summer Top to blend simplicity and elegance. This delightful free pattern was inspired by those sunny days spent at the beach or relaxing in the park. Staying true to my love of designing beginner friendly patterns, I created this project to appeal to crocheters of all skill levels.
Cotton for Breathability
I chose to use Caron Cakes Cotton yarn for this project because of its natural breathability. It provides the perfect about of drape, while not being to stretchy. I have written this pattern to fit a size large, but if you want to adjust the size, just increase or decrease the number of stitches in your starting chain. Remember to keep it in multiples of 2!
Classic Stitches
Because I love to make beginner friendly patterns, I tend to use simple stitches in a lot of my patterns. For example, this pattern is made using only single crochet and half double crochet stitches. Many new crocheters will already be familiar with these.
Versatile & Stylish
With its breezy design and versatility, the Savannah Crochet Summer Top will become your go-to top for those warm summer days. Embrace the warmth and beauty of summer while creating your very own wearable masterpiece!
