Estella Crochet Poncho – Free Pattern & Video Tutorial

Elevate your wardrobe with this elegant, non-classic style crochet poncho. Emanating style and trendiness, this beginner friendly poncho effortlessly complements a diverse array of outfits, from jeans and T-shirts to dresses and hoodies. Moreover, as the brisk autumn sets in, the Estella Crochet Poncho pattern serves as both a fashionable statement and an additional layer of warmth.

Simple Design

The Crochet Estella Poncho is designed in two separate panels, using the Crochet Cross Over Stitch. This unique, beginner friendly stitch is repeated for 46 rows. Once you’ve sewed the two panels together, the finishing touch is to apply the border. I have used 4 skeins of Lion Brand Mandala Ombre Yarn, with a 5mm crochet hook. However, feel free to exercise creative freedom by substituting with the yarn of your choice!

More Information

While designed to be a beginner friendly pattern, you must be familiar with front post and back post double crochet. However, I have included a video to accompany the pattern, if you need more visuals. I have used US crochet terms. For more information, visit the Craft Yarn Council website.
